Couple Captures Video of a Sasquatch in California.

While staying at a cabin in Truckee, California, a couple captured footage of what they believe shows a Sasquatch. According to the couple, the incident occurred in July of 2013.

In the video, a large humanoid figure can be seen pulling branches off of a tree. The creature then begins to walk away and notices the couple, who then flee in terror.

The couple says they were too afraid to upload the footage online or send it to someone.  However, they both decided to submitted their footage to the YouTube channel “The Paranormal Review” after the channel featured a Bigfoot video captured by a man who says he was initially too afraid to show anyone else the footage out of fear of being ridiculed.

Many of those who have expressed skepticism believe the creature was nothing more than a person in a costume.

Personally, I have to agree that this most-likely is just another hoax. However, we never get a clear shot of the creature, so it’s nearly impossible to say for sure just what exactly this figure was.

I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on this footage.  Do you think it shows an actual Sasquatch? Or might this simply be another hoax??

Real Monster Encounters

You've probably heard of the countless stories that have circled the media about monsters people claim they've been visited by or encountered.  There's classics like Big Foot, The Lockness Monster, The Abominable Snow Man (also known as Yeti), and aliens.  I believe aliens are the most popular to claim because there are so many aspects to take into consideration. I myself believe in aliens and that they have visited Earth, and nobody can prove me 100% wrong.  I collected short tales of people's personal paranormal experiences and thought I would share one of my favorite.  SO HERE IT IS:

The Ghost In My Restaurant

I used to work at a restaurant located in a little strip mall across the street from my house. The location was perfect for me, down the street from my school, and across the street from my house.

One night I was closing up, just me and the 2 owners. We started talking about the ghost in the restaurant, I had only witnessed one event you could call paranormal. The dish washer had randomly started itself, it was an old restaurant dishwasher with a button you had to push to make it start.
Well that night we were talking about the ghost, the owners told me stories of how it would lock doors, knock objects on the floor, turn on the dishwasher when no one was in the dish pit (that was a huge one), basically do everything possible to make its presence known. As they're telling me this a jigger (the little shot glasses with one end bigger then the other) goes flying across the restaurant into a wall. This post is just to see if people take the time to read my blogs, or skim through.  I know you do Mrs. B, respect for that :).  Comment hehe if you see this.  I already know people going lie so I'm just here to expose the fakes.  Well my boss totally over reacts, and starts yelling, and screaming, and making a big ruckus. I just end up standing there with my fish out of water look watching all of this. After a few minutes of him yelling the front door slams shut. We had it propped open because it was a hot night (there was NO WIND AT ALL). This has to be the freakiest night of my life.

Top 10 Phobias

There're fears, and then there're phobias.  You know those irrational fears we have of dumb things like heights or clowns (big up Brandon lol).  They can't really hurt us, but, we have created a setting of fear that we subconsciously link to the object or place.  (I just made that up, but it sounds right doesn't it?  I'm no scientist sorry, this is a horror blog you came to the wrong place for facts and statistics.)  Anyhow, statistically speaking, 1 in 100,000 people actually die as a direct cause of a phobia they have.  I myself have a deathly fear of roaches, small spaces, and needles but I have no problem handling snakes, spiders, or big dogs like others might.  But now, back to my point:

10.  Trypophobia – The fear of holes
Okay this one is just too irrational for my understanding but whatever I'm affraid of roaches I can't really judge.
 

9.  Aerophobia – The fear of flying
I might have a mild case of this.

8.  Mysophobia – The fear of germs
Germs? Plllleeeease! Just wash your hands, you're fine.

7.  Claustrophobia – The fear of small spaces
YESSSSSSSS!  How can you not panic and get terrified in an enclosed tight area??

Funny, I find thunder and lighting beautiful and sobering.  I adore it.

NOT DOGGIES!  You monster!  They only want love and attention.

This one I can understand also because anxiety and people can be overwhelming.

How To Get Away with Murder

I've recently started back watching one of my favorite series on Netflix, called How To Get Away With Murder. It's so interesting and I can't stress enough how much you should watch it. The story reveals a lot of plot twists and secrets that each character is hiding. The show stars Viola Davis as Annalise Keating, a brilliant, cunning, high-profile Philadelphia-based defense attorney and law professor at the fictional Middleton University. She works alongside her loyal assistants, Bonnie Winterbottom and Frank Delfino; and five students she has chosen, Wes Gibbins, Connor Walsh, Michaela Pratt, Asher Millstone, and Laurel Castillo, to help her win cases. After murdering Annalise's husband for good reasons, the five students are on a suspense filled adventure to try and cover up the crime they commited. Oddly enough, Annalise guides and protects them so they won't get caught. I'm trying my best not to reveal too much in case you plan on getting into the series, but I think you get the idea. To sum everything up, if you're into thrills, secrecy, conspiracies, murders, love triangles, passion, and tension filled drama, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOW FOR YOU!

 

Halloween Origins

This post is basically to show my appreciation for Halloween.  Its my favorite holiday!  Getting to dress up in a costume, hiding my true identity to everyone but my friends, how could you not adore such a day??  Although many believe that participating in Halloween activities indicates that you worship evil beings such as Satan, but I don't necessarily think that of the participants of Halloween.  If I worshiped anything, it would be the free candy and drinks that the special day bring; and parties too. Parties are one of my favorite things to do for Halloween, whether I'm attending one or throwing it.  Just imagine a gathering of people, all in costume, how magical right?  Home made or store bought, think about all the creativity everyone puts into their special outfit. One minute I'm dancing with Spiderman and a Powerranger, next minute I'm having a conversation with The Pope, 21 Savage, and a guy in a chicken costume.  What an enticing experience right?  I believe those who celebrate Halloween are in it for the lighthearted pranks and fun.

To really appreciate how clever, touching, and creative these intros truly are you'd have to watch the series.  I find that the Supernatural creators always out do themselves when it comes to giving fans what we don't know we want.  Just looking at them makes me want to continue watching the show.  They bring back fond memories I hold from the countless nights I stayed up telling myself "a few more episodes."  These title cards are a true work of art.

Killer Clown Sightings?

Quite recently, people from across the United Sates have reported seeing clowns out and about, that's right, clowns.  As cool as that might sound to some, for me that's a living nightmare.  Thankfully, no stalker clowns have been spotted in Cayman.  Or else, I would not be leaving my house after 6 pm.  Anyways, the creepy clown sightings were reported in Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania and now Washington State.  

In the midst of the multiple sightings and police confirmation, a theory has been circling that the clowns are a part of a viral marketing stunt for the upcoming film adaptation of It, which comes out in 2017.  Another popular theory is that it’s a scheme to promote a different movie about killer clowns called 31, by Rob Zombie.  The studios behind both It and 31 claimed that they are not affiliated with the clown sightings.  So far there has been no evidence of criminal activity, and no reports of anyone doing anything illegal, but arrests have been made for making false reports and chasing people in clown costumes.

I believe that a couple of people just got bored and decided to go out and go scare a few random victims, all how Halloween is coming up in a few weeks.  The other clown sightings are just other individuals who probably jumped onto the bandwagon and thought it would be entertaining to scare the crap out of their neighbors.  But, whatever these clowns' intentions are, I think its safe to say everyone is on edge for Halloween 2016.  These lurkers scare my soul and shake my spirit.

• Morris the cat, this one is kinda sad, I didn't known animals could be ghosts.  :(

Ghosts: How To Deal With Vengeful Spirits 

Based off of the Supernatural Series

1.  First, Identify the Problem.
You must know if it is really a ghost or ghosts that you are dealing with.  It could be a different type of vengeful spirit, one that has passed over to the other side and returned to do Lucifer's dirty-work.  These corrupted souls are known as demons.  They are much more powerful and have far greater evil intentions.  Cold spots in a room or space and a human-like depictions are dead give-a-ways for a ghost.  Demons however, are dark, smoke-like entities who give off a smell of sulfur and when they posses a person, the host develops full black eyes.

2.  Threat?
Is your ghost really a threat to you?  Nine out of ten times the answer is a yes.  It may not be evident right now, but ghosts always become more angry and out for revenge as time passes by.  The spirit may take a liking to someone that reminds it of it's previous life.  But it may also be triggered by this same thing.  Ghosts usually start off as lost or scared but don't succumb to the innocence because in time the spirit may seek revenge on you.
 

3.  What Is It After?
Figure out the motive for the ghost to still be around.  Ghosts are a result of a person's soul not wanting to leave Earth or refusing to believe they have actually died.  Sometimes, they are just in search of guidance or help.  Or, could it be that your house was the site of a violent death or murder?  Traumatic events that have lead to the death of a person also create a restless spirit.  Brush up thoroughly on the history of your area to make sure you are well educated.  This will come in handy if you want to get rid of the ghost.


4. Methods for Control. (not a permanent solution)
I'm not judging.  If you're okay with living with a ghost, that's fine by me.  Just heed my warning.  In time, all lost spirits become dangerous.  Anyways, there are two things that can cause harm to a ghost; salt and iron. Salt rings and lines are the most commonly used method in keeping a ghostly spirit away or trapped.  For some reason, they can't cross a salt barrier or come into contact with iron.  Just have salt lined in the door ways and windows of the rooms you don't want entered by it.  The iron can be used to defend yourself against the spirit if it becomes more hostile.









5.  Methods for Expulsion. (permanent solution)
It's been said and proven that by burning the remains of the spirit should cast it away.  By 'remains' I mean the physical corpse.  True, this is a gruesome technique but it will get the job done.  Sometimes how ever, a lost spirit may be attached to an item it once owned while it was still alive.  Said item most likely contains traces of its DNA and will have to be burned as well to completely expel the ghost.  After burning all trace-evidence the spirit should go up into flames and never bother you again.
